Exporting Data from MI, Bay City MLS Axcess

mlsaxcess

In selecting data from mlsaxcess be sure to select the options below:

On the “Status” options select all the Status Options.  This includes all properties that are for sale, under contract (pending), canceled, sold, withdrawn, expired, etc.  Also, include all status activity for the last two years.

You should also make your normal selection choices by selecting other options that you would normally select in doing a CMA.  Press the “Results” tab to see the results of your search.

Once you’ve selected the data, you are ready to export the results.  To export the results, select the “Download” tab.

Once you’ve selected the ‘Download” tab, you will see the Download page as shown below.

Keep the file format as shown (“Comma-Delimited Text File (.csv)” and press the download button and save your file.

Be sure to remember where you save your file.  This is the exported file that will be used to create your graphs.

Once you have saved your exported file, you are ready to run the application.

When you run the application you will need to find the exported data file, so be aware of where the file has been placed.   It may make sense to move the file to a location that is easier to access.

For instructions on how to run the application, be sure to see http://www.focus1st.com and take a look at the tutorial section.
